Horizontal plastic tanks

Horizontal tanks

Horizontal plastic tanks - GHIBLIPLASTTanks are horizontal plastic tanks that are produced by spiral winding of polyethylene and polypropylene, but they differ in their purpose and thus in construction from other tanks. GHIBLIPLAST tanks can be overground or underground. Due to space savings and safety, these horizontal plastic tanks are usually buried in the ground. If they are installed overground, plastic or other kind of mounts must be used.

They are constructed in such a way that they are able to endure, in addition to the internal hydrostatic pressure, the external loads of the buried layer of the earth if they are buried, or the dynamic movement of the liquid during filling and emptying, if they are above ground. These horizontal tanks are most widely used in households, schools, kindergartens, weekend resorts, hotel and motel accommodations, as well as in the drinking water storage industry, but also as sedimentation tanks for fecal or technical water, separators for industrial waste or storage of other industrial fluids. Our plastic water tanks can be easily used instead of concrete tanks for individual households and cottages, as well as entire settlements. Tanks are produced in volumes up to 100,000 liters.

Propreties

Horizontal plastic tanks - GHIBLIPLASTGHIBLIPLAST plastic tanks made of high-density polyethylene HDPE and polypropylene PPH have multiple advantages over tanks made of traditional materials, one of them being the fact that they can be used for fresh water storage. Thanks to our production process, they have a great price. HDPE (high density polyethylene) is a material used in the production of our. It is on the positive list of European Union materials for this application. All our products are certified and environmentally friendly. HDPE type PE 80 and PE 100 allows our products to have the following properties:

  • Exceptional mechanical properties, the material from which our tanks are made has high tensile strength and excellent compressive strength. It is resistant to wear due to the low coefficient of friction, so it prevents the appearance of grooves and scratches during use. An extremely tough material, whose toughness is reflected at extremely low temperatures
  • Affordable price
  • Chemically resistant to most chemicals and aggressive substances
  • Heat resistant - at temperatures from -30°C to +80°C if made of polyethylene and from -10°C to +100°C if made of polypropylene
  • They have excellent abrasion resistance, making them suitable for working with solutions that require mixing
  • Certified and environmentally friendly, they don't pollute the environment
  • In use, tanks do not contaminate their contents, nor can their contents cause a chemical reaction with the material from which they are made. This means that these tanks are practically tasteless and odorless and cannot be an environment in which algae or bacteria grow, which is especially important in the food and pharmaceutical industry
  • Easy to maintain - smooth interior walls minimize the adhesion of substances for easy cleaning
  • UV resistant - can be used outdoors without any protection, they use a UV stabilizer in the form of active soot
  • They are corrosion resistant, do not require corrosion protection or overhaul
  • Light weight - much lighter than tanks made of traditional materials, allowing them to be easier, faster and cheaper to transport and handle
  • Designed to be subjected to gross manipulation
  • Long-lasting - long atmospheric influences do not affect the functionality of tanks (service life over 50 years)

Accessories for GHIBLIPLAST horizontal tanks

Horizontal plastic tanks - GHIBLIPLASTGHIBLIPLAST tanks can be equipped with plastic fittings (internal threaded connections, flanges, valves, taps, level indicators, inspection openings, vents, overflows, ladders, anchoring feet, carrying lugs, nozzles etc).

In addition to the standard water tanks with smaller volumes, horizontal tanks are produced exclusively on order.

Based on the specific requirements of the user in terms of the desired dimensions of the tank, volume, purpose, etc. specific calculation and sizing are performed.
